How to fuel-efficient driving?
TIPS FOR FUEL-EFFICIENT DRIVING:
1. Avoid aggressive driving. Accelerate slowly and smoothly, avoid unnecessary brake.
2. Drive steadily at posted speed limits. If possible, maintain at 90km/h (best fuel consumption)
3. Avoid idling your vehicle. If you're going to be stopped for more than 30 seconds, except in traffic, turn off the engine.
4. Make sure your tires are properly inflated.
5. Select the right gear according to your speed.
6. Use your air conditioner sparingly, as in a very hot day, it can increase fuel consumption by more than 20%.
7. Service your vehicle regularly, as poorly tuned car can use up 50% more fuel.
8. Reduce drag, meaning keep window up, reduce the car weight by removing unnecessary heavy things.
